Humanitarian assistance from the Government of Germany for intrnallz displaced pepole in 2015-2016
Due to aggravation of the situation in Western Ukraine in February and significant nearly twice increase in the amount of internallz displaced peple nearly, the Government of Germany decided to continue the project of Humanitarian Assistance to Ukraine for 2015-2016. Chief Executors of the project implementation under the title „Measures on Provision of Humanitarian Aid to Internally Displaced People in Kyiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk Regions“, for the whole territory of Ukraine are Workers Union Samaritans Germany (ASB) Union of Samaritans Ukraine Kyiv Association (USU KA) and in regions – regional Samaritans organisations.
Charitable Organization “Kharkov Samaritans” started implementing the project on assistance providing to internally displaced people in 2015-2016 in Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk Regions.
The project is implemented at the expense of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, under which the aid with food in Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk Regions is to be provided monthly to 1500 persons from particularly vulnerable segments of population:
- invalids;
- large families;
- elderly people with minimal pensions;
- single mothers (fathers), registered with social protection authorities.
The program is implemented in collaboration with local authorities of Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, supported by the Consulate General of Germany in Dnipropetrovsk, partner public organizations in Kharkiv, public organization “To Victory” (Pavlograd).

- 1, Frunze Str. (in the Premises of Chernobyl Union of Ukraine) for Chernobyl cleanup veterans and the members of their families.
