Education emergency aid and basic care for the elderly to the general public

    On March 2013 we became a member of the Unified Social Network of Kharkov, which includes more than 100 non-governmental organizations, and started a new program "Education emergency aid and basic care for the elderly to the general public ».

The purpose of the program was to raise literacy social workers Kharkov and volunteers to help in case of accident, as well as other non-standard situations.

In the course of daily communication with clients social workers and volunteers are faced with a variety of non-standard situations - sudden uhushenie health ward, accidents, etc. Therefore, from the skills of human behavior, providing support at this point depends on the life and health of the city community of Kharkov region.

Previously, our specialists have been trained by German colleagues as coaches on first aid and got the certificates. At this stage in their mission is to train students in the basics of first aid and emergency care for immobile patients. Classes are held for social workers, family members of the Kharkiv regional public organization "Union Chernobyl" volunteers.

The project is unique in providing free educational services task force on first aid and care for the elderly. He implies a systematic work on the development of these skills of all participants and provides them with the necessary knowledge. The project is for a large audience coverage, gives the opportunity to develop a model and teaching methods.
